
Foreign correspondent Amelia Ansfield barely escaped death during a mission in Syria. To recover, she moves to the charming village of Upper Crayton in the Cotswolds. But the peace does not last long. When the town’s beloved veterinarian is found murdered, the village is in turmoil.
The local police soon come to suspect the vet’s assistant. Yet, Amelia’s journalistic instincts tell her that something is off.
